As I stare out the window this AM and await the dump of snow that is inevitably approaching, I’m thinking back and feeling thankful for such an incredibly beautiful fall here in Calgary.
YYC is notorious for its labour day snowstorms and the early frost that quickly destroys any chance for the leaves to change colour. The weather always switches from scorching hot to negative 20 overnight! This year though, we maintained temps of around plus 15 for weeks and actually had the chance to witness the transition to fall that the rest of the country normally enjoys.
Along with this beautiful weather, came an influx of families wanting fall photos. I was booked solid until just this week! I had the chance to meet so many families, both large and small; lots of cute babies and a few sweet couples. My style of photography certainly fits the fall season- rustic, warm, contrasted.
I’ll leave some of my favourite shots from this fall down below! Thank you YYC for such an amazing season, can you please be like this next year?
