Congratulations to all you grads of 2020! What a crazy year to be graduating. All of those plans you made to be in a gymnasium full of your friends and family while walking the stage had to be canceled or modified due to COVID. My heart truly goes out to you all!
This year sure has dampered so many of the things us humans thrive on- social gatherings, festivals, celebrations, weddings, birthdays, GRADS!!. We have had to come up with some unique and creative ways to celebrate during this time. So many grads had a quiet “walk the stage” moment that was televised for their family and friends. I wonder how these all went for everybody?? Comment down below and let me know!
I had the pleasure of capturing D’s grad last week and was so glad I could be a part of a special moment such as high school graduation. There is no better feeling than walking out of that school for the very last time, summer just seconds away, and your whole life in front of you. The least I felt I could do was capture him and his wonderful family and give some sparkle to a somewhat lackluster ceremony. His photos ended up turning out amazing! Some of my favourite portraits to date, and one heck of a family photo with the Olympic mountains in the background.
I will still be booking grad sessions for the next 2 weeks before moving to Calgary! Until then, xoxo
